A jet transporting Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was compelled to make an unscheduled landing in the Britain on Wednesday due to a fissure was identified in the jet's front window, per an official announcement which stated that Hegseth was safe.
"The plane landed in accordance with standard procedures and everyone onboard, among them Defense Secretary Hegseth, is secure," an official representative said in a online announcement.
The secretary was coming back from a short visit to the Belgian capital when the incident occurred.
