Eulogies Continue for Rob and Michele Reiner as Autopsy Reports Are Sealed.

More than two weeks after the tragic deaths of esteemed film director Rob Reiner and his partner, photographer Michele Reiner, peers and loved ones continue to honor the couple.

"Sufficient time has elapsed that I can now put my grief into words," posted Elwes, noting that his introductory moment with Reiner created an instant bond. "As we began sharing more moments together I knew this was someone I desired in my life."

The actor uploaded behind-the-scenes footage from the production, remarking that he doesn't recollect "a single day without mirth".

"The film is about devotion, fidelity and selflessness. Principles that Rob held dear. Which is among the many reasons he was the perfect person to direct it," Elwes continued.

He additionally honored Michele Reiner, noting: "To say that they were a incredible duo would be an understatement. My heart still aches every time I think of you." He finished with a line from *The Princess Bride*: "Indeed, death cannot stop true love but living is anguish without you."

Martin Scorsese Remembers a Colleague and Comrade

In a different piece, acclaimed director Martin Scorsese paid homage to Reiner, whom he originally knew in the 1970s.

"Right away, I loved hanging out with Rob. We had a natural affinity for each other. He was uproarious and sometimes acutely humorous, but he was never the kind of guy who would dominate the room," Scorsese said.

Scorsese pointed out Reiner's acting part in his 2013 film *The Wolf of Wall Street*, playing the father of the lead role.

"He was skilled at improv with the best. He was a expert at comedy, he worked seamlessly with his co-stars, and he understood the personal struggle of his character," Scorsese wrote.

Legal Developments: Autopsy Reports Restricted

In a new development, a Los Angeles court official ruled to bar the release of the Reiners' post-mortem findings, at the request from the Los Angeles Police Department.

A court order placed a security hold on the investigation to restrict the public release of "all case details, evidence and photographs" pertaining to the ongoing investigation.

The relevant authority had already determined their deaths were the result of homicide, with a record noting the cause as "injuries from a sharp object".
